William Rushing is a Graphic Designer and Artist hailing from Ridgefield, Washington, located just 20 miles North of Downtown Portland, Oregon. Pursuing art since childhood, he was accepted to Washington State University's Fine Arts department where he studied painting, print-based digital media and illustration. From November of 2006 through the Spring of 2008 he was given the privilege of putting his talents to use as Graphic Designer for Washington State University’s Student Recreation Center (UREC) where his rapid high output of quality designs impressed his supervisors, who found it difficult to keep a steady number of projects in his in-box. In early April, 2010, William curated a gallery show of his thesis work entitled "Are We There Yet?", the subject of which was a subtle satire on the lack of imagination in adults today.
After a working his way through his Bachelor of Fine Arts and completing an Associates in Applied Technology in Web and Graphic Design in 2013 (awarded in January 2014), William joined Double U, LLC as their Graphic Designer/Creative Director where he established a visual identity for the company and continues to design and publish a combination Magazine and product catalog as well as t-shirts & sweatshirts, vinyl decals, web ads, and many other projects.
